Heading up our audit department, Lynton specialises in corporate audit and taxation, personal tax planning and corporate restructuring. With many years’ experience in private practice, Lynton qualified with Price Waterhouse in 1982 and is one of the founding partners of Shelley Stock Hutter LLP.
He has developed an expert knowledge of the property, retail, transport and food sectors, and his ever expanding client base spans the whole spectrum of owner-managed businesses. Often writing for the financial press, Lynton is also in demand by the media and has appeared on radio giving tax advice in a ‘phone in’ tax clinic.

Bobby Lane
As head of Denver Chase International, our outsourcing operation, Bobby specialises in providing consultancy for growing businesses. He is also responsible for new business and marketing.
A chartered accountant with more than eleven years’ experience in professional practice, Bobby qualified with BDO and has an additional five years’ commercial experience having worked as a finance director for multinational organisations.
He has built an expert knowledge of the issues facing businesses in the media, fashion, leisure and service sectors. Combining this skill with his broad network of contacts, he takes a creative approach in delivering solutions at all stages of a client’s development.
Bobby’s views and opinions are frequently sought by national and business publications with recent interviews including The Times, Sky News and Drapers magazine. He is the treasurer and a trustee of The Patients’ Association.

Susan Hutter
As a chartered accountant, Susan takes a holistic approach to her clients’ businesses. With many years of professional practice experience under her belt, she is one of the founding partners of Shelley Stock Hutter LLP.
Susan excels at building long-term rapport with her clients. She is recognised as an industry expert on issues relating to the healthcare industry, professional practices and the recruitment sector. Susan is a regular contributor to the health press and has been interviewed many times on radio.

Richard Churchill
Richard’s area of specialism is in audit with a particular emphasis on compliance matters and their regulatory implications. He also plays a key role in the firm’s recruitment and development of staff which is focused upon never compromising on the quality of the people employed.
Richard has a wide knowledge of the property and securities sectors as demonstrated by his growing client base. He takes a very commercial approach and with his wide technical knowledge, he has a painstaking eye for financial analysis and forensic investigations.
He regularly writes for trade and business publications and is a member of several professional technical advisory committees.

Stephen Adler
Our managing partner, Stephen Adler, joined the partnership in 1994 having qualified with Price Waterhouse in 1982.
Taking a straightforward approach, coupled with his commercial and accountancy experience, Stephen’s clients know that they can rely upon him for unstinting support in their drive toward success.
He takes a special interest in guiding start-up businesses through their initial hurdles, continuing to steer them in a profitable direction as they grow. He has specialist expertise in business management and control with an excellent knowledge of the IT, manufacturing and service sectors.
